I couldn’t say enough absolutely amazing things about this shop! After having my transmission go, taking my vehicle to another shop that put a shift kit in that unfortunately made the issue worse. That mechanic ultimately ended up taking it in to National. As a female, I felt so comfortable calling and asking questions. I was pretty hesitant after spending a few thousand dollars to only make the issue worse at another shop previously. The guys were always amazing answering questions, explaining what they were doing, transparent on cost, timelines and expectations. I couldn’t recommend this shop more!

HIGHLY recommend this place. My transmission light came on so I drove it to Canadian Tire as I was nearby. They were unable to help and referred me to National Transmission. I dropped it off this morning (Friday) as I was worried about driving it around too much and was told that they would do their best to get a look at it on Monday. Not only did they get it looked at by lunch time FRIDAY, they took the time in their very busy schedule to look up the issue with my car and give me all the information needed to take to Ford to get it fixed for free. Dan was very lucky I didn't jump through the little cubby hole to kiss him on the cheek! I was waiting for a 3-5,000 quote and all ready to call cash for cars to take it off my hands, instead I go the the best service and price possible! You have my undying gratitude and I will refer anyone who will listen!

Hands down the best service out there. My husband had to take his car in to get his transmission looked at after the dealership said it needed a full replacement with only 70,000km on it. We wanted a second opinion and after researching online shops in Calgary we chose National as their reviews were light years beyond others. We can definitely see why. They were incredibly helpful and VERY honest. They provided an expert opinion without even charging for the visit given the situation. We would highly recommend!
