Transmission shops rely on their reviews which is why I wanted to share my experience and positive outcome. My volkswagen Jetta 2016 had a transmission issue. It was a major job as many codes were coming up in the computer. It was a very long and iterative process to correct all the problems (a more complex job than most). Dan at National Transmission kept me apprised of what they found and what next steps they would have to take. Dan and his team continued to look for solutions to solve the problems and get me back on the road. In the end to bill was the same as originally quoted. For sure they did not make any money on my job with the many extra hours and components they committed over and above the original quote They have certainly gained my trust and accolades. They deserve all of those 5 stars!

The clutch on my car decided to die and these guys were so awesome. They were able to get my car in that day to diagnose the issue, and just a couple days to instal the new parts. They were kind and explained everything to me without making it complicated. I really appreciated all their help and 10/10 would recommend this business.

You are miracle workers! We had great doubts that the 5 Speed Standard Transmission on our European 1989 1.6L Diesel VW Westfalia could be repaired. You got all the necessary parts, some from Europe and did it. Now the shifting of gears is smooth and easy, without any transmission leaks. What a GREAT experience. Called with my issue on Friday and Dan at the front desk had me in on Monday. The tech that worked on my truck came to get me (a surprise to me) no one else has ever done this he showed me the issue and how to watch it. Also got good advice from Dan re service. Will be back for next checkup.

I've looked some shops closest to where I work and live and a lot of good shops where located near this location. However I choose this because; 1) Google Reviews and 2) Because they have been in the business for years (they really know what they are doing) especially my vehicle is an older model. I had an issue with my output shaft seal which causing it to leak. However only after a month after it was replaced by a mechanic (I was already told it may not last for long and may need a new case because it was damaged by previous mechanic) it leaked again. Thinking it may need a new housing and not to have again a temporary fix, I went to this location. Dan was amazing, he was detailed and they are very honest. They still did a permanent fix without spending $1k+ for parts and labor only $250. They replaced the seal and made some permanent fix that's causing the leak. I couldn't see why I cannot recommend them for a great job they did. So far it's been 15 days and still no signs of leak, hopefully it stays longer.
