So close to 5 star it hurts! quick and quality work. I had a bad trans in a truck i bought, i wanted something that was going to last. we opted to build a trans with some stronger internals than to just replace it with an OEM style replacement. It was a little more pricey than i originally went in thinking, however its a "get what you pay for" thing, the truck drives excellent. shifts firm, have put quite its been a year now and i'm super happy with it. if i had to complain, two things.... the trans case should have gotten some paint on it.... not a big deal... but the engine was painted, and the price im sure they could have fit a can of gloss black in there. and i was talked into changing my flex plate over. and i am happy we did cause we didnt want a possible bend in the old one to mess the pump in the new trans. however when changing a flex plate a tech should always advise changing the rear main seal. something i didn't bring up that i should have. I just want to be clear. this is a 4.5 rating(no ones perfect now..). transmission works 100% and i feel very confident with it. there were just a couple things i could suggest, as a car guy, that i felt could be said to make this a full 5 star rating. otherwise. very fast work. happy with the outcome Neil and the crew at the shop are all stand up people and have years of knowledge, very fast and hard workers and i will for sure be dealing with them for any other trans related problems that i face in the future.

Brock and his team were fantastic. Our car broke down and we were not from Calgary. Realizing our predicament, he dropped everything and did a diagnostic and quickly addressed the issue right away. He gave us confidence to get back on the highway to go home that same day. I would highly recommend this local shop!

These guys were able to get my daughter's car in and deliver the bad news that it was not worth fixing but when it came time to come get it and off to the wreckers these guys said no charge for what they had done. That is absolutely the best customer support I have seen in a long time. Thank you.

We took my Jeep in for a transmission repair. National checked into our concerns and called us saying my transmission looked good as new and wasn't the source to our problem despite another transmission shop claiming strongly that we needed a new one. National determined my transfer case was actually to blame and within three days had my Jeep fixed and back on the road. I couldn't believe how nicely my Jeep drove after, it feels like a brand new vehicle again. Not only did National save me a lot of money, but they were open and honest which is the most important thing to me. I would recommend them to anyone, their customer service is fantastic and their workmanship matches it.
