I have been going to National Transmission on Macleod Trail for several years now to have my vehicles repaired. Troy is the owner and is very friendly. He will explain everything to you, what needs repair right away and what can wait. The key here is honesty. There is no "push" to do unnecessary repairs, like other places. After completing the repairs, he will even show you the old part and why it failed. If you drive older vehicles (like me), you can't go wrong here. Troy understands older vehicles. He always gives me "options" when it comes to selecting replacement parts, e.g aftermarket ($) or OEM ($$$). Finally, the repairs are always completed on time. If he tells you Thursday, it will be done Thursday.

Great service! Transmission went on our vehicle outside Calgary Thursday afternoon heading to Saskatoon. Contacted the shop. Spoke with Brock and he had a rebuilt coming in from BC by Friday noon. One of his employees, Max, agreed to work Friday evening and all day Saturday, his day off, to get us on the road Saturday night. Thanks again.

Definitely recommend this place! I was in a messy situation and needed time to decide what to do with my car. So the guys here let me store my car with them over the weekend, even though I hadn't even decided yet if I wanted to get it fixed! And then they gave me a ride to the other end of the city. I was blown away by the kindness to try and help me in my situation!

I ported the heads and intake manifold in my motorhome a few years ago. Within a year after, I literally hamburgered the transmission. I saved money for about 6 months and got Bruno and Arash to do a modified "Bomb proof" build. It costed more than I anticipated. But it was well worth it!
