Highly Recommended. This is the place to go for transmission and mechanical check up. I was devastated when I saw a puddle of oil under the hood one morning. I was visiting back then Calgary for Stampede. It was busy Stampede week. Few places I stopped by including Toyota dealership basically told me to throw the car away. I googled National Transmission and they took me in without any appointment. Offered me water, coffee, sat me down because I was super nervous and didn't know what to do. (Also it was super-hot). Looked at the leak and calmed me down saying that 99% there is nothing wrong with it and it just needs minor repair (in comparison to what I have been told before by other shops in Calgary). Arash and the Owner took me to the rental place right nearby. They called prior to me getting there because again it was a busy week. There was huge line up but because of the owner rental place was expecting me already. I got a cheap rental since National has a deal with them. It was Friday and I needed a car over the weekend. Monday morning Arash called and confirmed that only few things needed a replacement and transmission itself is not leaking. Other places wanted either my money or the car. National Transmission treated me like a family. Repaired my car. Got paid. No more puddle. Everything is ok now. I am very thankful to them and their business. I hope we don't meet ))) hahaha (in a good sense of this word) but should something happen this will be the first place I will take my car to. They also checked if the car runs properly and mechanically is ok. It would be good to see friendly staff and know that you are not being ripped off....Thanks National Transmission! I think Ive found my new mechanic!! Aresh is very knowledgeable and can thoroughly answered any questions I had regarding my transmissions weird behavior over the weekend. He took my truck and me for a test run with a diagnostic computer attached to monitor performance; free of charge. He showed me that eveything was operating correctly and my temperatures were normal. And since then its been running fine. He told me that the new valve body computer in the tranny goes through a period when its installed were it has to learn your driving style and optimum shift timing etc, and that i should just be patient and let it adjust. (A different place suggested i rebuild it again!! $$$$$) We had a look at my bearing hubs and like i suspected they did have to be replaced. He had it done the next day and the bill was less than quoted. These guys are straight shooters and are very polite and professional. I will be returning for sure if anything else comes up.....hopefully not to soon though :)

Very friendly and honest service. They were able to take my truck the next day and called me when it was getting looked at. They even called me to let me know of an issue that arose and asked me how I wanted it handled before going ahead with the repair. Very happy with the service they provided and I definitely recommend them.

Great, knowledgeable professional shop I brought my 2010 Nissan Titan Pro4x 4x4 in for a slight, occasional 'slip' when accelerating. The Service Mgr took my truck (I was along as well) for a test run with a diagnostic computer attached to monitor performance; No charge. Then put my truck in the shop to do some physical checks. Found no leaks but that the transmission fluid level was down about 2 litres (previous service ??). Additionally found was a front differential pinion seal leak. In aditional discussions, it was realized that the transmission had only been flushed previously & not fully serviced, and was nearly due for a full servicing. After presentin the findings, The Service Mgr provided a repair estimate & the truck was booked into the shop for the following open business day with an estimated repair time. Additionally, a technician was instructed to add a litre of correct oil to the transmission to increase the level to closer to where it should be; No charge. The day of the repair, the truck was delivered to the shop at the appointed; the repairs were completed within the estimated time AND the invoice was less than the estimated price. All-in-all; a great professional knowledgeable shop to deal with!! AND a great service experience altogether. LSA

National Transmission is the repair shop to go in Calgary for first rate service and attention to detail. Arash was great in explaining the repair process and the work was done in a timely fashion. Neil, Arash and the team at National Transmission (2432 23 Ave NE Calgary) are awesome! I needed work done on my BMW X5 and they got it done it done FAST and PERFECT! And not only did they get it done with great professionalism, they also did some research on my vehicle to answer questions I had! Ladies, if you are looking for some honest mechanics, this is the place to go!

Neil and Bruno are the only ones I will trust when it comes to my drive line and transmission needs, I had my transmission rebuilt and was very happy with the work and how everything was handled, I ended up having to replace quite of a few other things along the line but they were always things that were related to the work and what I asked to have looked at, It was nice to have the guys save the parts for me so they can show me why they needed replacement, You are in good knowledgeable hands with these guys.
